Whether you celebrate the winter solstice, Christmas or both, I hope the recent festivities have brought you love, light and laughter!

Learning something new at Christmas

On Christmas Day, I couldn't convince my children to come with me to the church service that my mother-in-law wanted to attend, even though I used the "true meaning of Christmas" to appeal to them.

So you can imagine how surprised I was to learn that Jesus wasn't born on 25 December!

The Christmas story has been told for hundreds of years to countless people, yet according to the sermon, Jesus was probably born in April or May. When the angel Gabriel appeared to the shepherds in the fields as they watched their sheep at night, it would not have been winter, as it would have been too cold.

It struck me how powerful stories are

Stories shape traditions, define what we believe and can ultimately determine the trajectory of our work and life. When we become aware of the stories that define us, we can shed the stories that no longer serve us like the snake sheds her skin to co-create a new destiny.

New Year's Eve Cacao, Fire & Gong Ceremony

Ancient wisdom traditions honoured Cacao as the Heart Medicine. Cacao creates a greater sense of connection to the Higher Self. Fire is the Great Transformer, releasing what no longer serves. These were used in ceremonies to honour an initiation or mark a new threshold.

I will guide you through a timeline exercise so you can learn what you need to shed from 2024, choose what gifts you want to bring forward and sense who you are being called to be and what you are being called to do in 2025. We will finish with a gong bath, allowing the potential of 2025 to guide you into the New Year.

Sherborne Gong Bath starting Jan 2025

I'm offering a series of manifestation gong baths in Sherborne at The Studio, Unit 15, Old Yarn Mills, Sherborne, DT9 3RQ on the last Friday of the month starting on 31 January from 7 pm to 8 pm,

The first full moon gong bath in Halstock is the Wolf Moon Gong Bath on 17 January 2025.
