Hey Reader, You might have noticed that I now offer a gong bath at Beaminster, which follows the new moon. At the last two full moon gong bath in Halstock, powerful shifts were happening within and without. The Wolf Moon brought about the exploration of new territory and the Snow Moon was a big release for some. This got me thinking about the difference in energy between the Full Moon and the New Moon Gong Baths. The new moon harnesses the unique energies associated with stillness, renewal, intention-setting and manifestation. It's about planting new seeds in the emptiness and trusting the potential. The full moon is often associated with heightened emotional intensity and amplification of intentions, releasing negative emotions and embracing transformation. A purging to make space for something new. Following the lunar cycle means we can become more attuned to the rhythms of nature. This heightened awareness can lead to a deeper connection with the natural world and a greater sense of mindfulness in everyday life. Reflecting on this I was curious to know if you have noticed any differences? If you're curious about this and want to try a moon cycle, here are the upcoming dates... New Moon gong bath (Beaminster): 14/03, 11/04, 9/05 Full Moon gong bath (Halstock): 22/03, 26/04, 24/05 I now have an events page on my website showing the next 6 group offerings, so if you want to book ahead, please visit www.alekapowell.com/events I hope to see you soon! |

As I listen to tales of how my mother grew up, walk familiar paths with new eyes, and feel the presence of those who came before me, I am reminded of the strength, wisdom, and resilience that flow through...

Reader Motherhood is so much more than a title—it is an energy, a presence, a way of being. We are all mothers in some way. Whether or not we have children, we nurture, protect, and create in countless ways. We are mothers to the Earth, tending to her beauty and receiving her gifts. We are mothers to the animals, offering them care, companionship, and love. We are mothers to the plants, growing and nourishing the world around us. We are mothers to ideas, dreams, and visions, bringing them...
